STEM Projects:
Foot Pronation Diagnostic Tool
Growing up with flat feet, I understood foot pronation as little more than an inconvenience. That perspective shifted when I watched my mother struggle with chronic ankle pain, a direct consequence of leaving her own flat feet untreated in her youth. The issue hit closer to home again when my cousin in India was recently diagnosed with excessive foot pronation, now enduring persistent back and leg pain that affects his daily life.
These experiences revealed a pattern: a condition that is relatively simple to identify often goes undiagnosed until it causes lasting damage. I recognized both a problem and an opportunity. Leveraging my programming skills alongside computer vision and machine learning technologies, I developed a diagnostic tool that allows users to submit images of their feet from multiple angles. The program then analyzes the images and calculates the degree of pronation or supination present, offering users an accessible first step toward understanding their foot health.
This novel project represents more than a technical exercise. It is my response to a problem I have witnessed affecting the people I love, and my attempt to make early detection more accessible to others who might otherwise overlook the warning signs.

Creative Projects:
“Crestfallen” – Short Film on Cyberbullying & Resilience
Director, Lead Actor – Won “Best Actor” and “Best Director” award at the local, 2023 J. P. Stevens High School Film Festival
“Crestfallen” follows a cyberbullied young boy whose self-doubt and warped self-image take physical form as an imaginary monster that stalks him through his everyday life. As he tries desperately to escape it, he eventually discovers that the monster is an embodiment of himself—his internalized hatred, anxiety, and untreated mental health struggles. The film uses psychological horror and visual metaphor to show how online cruelty can quietly evolve into a brutal inner voice, aiming to raise awareness about the hidden emotional impact of cyberbullying and the importance of empathy, support, and early intervention.

“Visions of the Past” – Published Book
Author
“Visions of Past” is my debut novel, written and published during high school. The story explores how memory, identity, and difficult choices shape who we become, following characters who are forced to confront the parts of their past they’d rather ignore. Through shifting perspectives and emotional, character-driven scenes, the book looks at regret, resilience, and the possibility of growth after mistakes.
Beyond the story itself, this project was a crash course in long-form storytelling and discipline. I outlined, drafted, and revised the manuscript, then took it through editing, formatting, and publishing, coordinating everything from cover design to promotion. Writing Visions of Past strengthened my voice as a storyteller and taught me how to take a complex creative idea from first concept to finished, public-facing work.
